I had the honor of meeting Tony in person a couple years back at the Ottawa Blues Fest. Tony was our first Canadian neighbor to put his music up at Nadeau and one of the very first to take a chance on this project. Tony is one of the elite group of homebrewed musicians we have in the Northeast that the mere mention of the city brings their name to mind. Tony's recent release, "Juke Joint", feels like a natural progression from his last acoustic release, "Size Of Your Shoes". The acoustic album seemed to bring Tony even tighter to the Blues if that's possible, and with his new release, "Jook Joint", Tony plugs it in and, with the help of some incredible sax and harmonica, he shows us how the Blues can be found in many different forms. Tony D has achieved national status in Canada with four albums and seven European tours to his credit. Tony has supported and performed with great rock/blues artists such as Buddy Guy, Luther Allison, Jeff Healey, Bryan Adams, Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan to name a few.

Another one of Tony's credits, which we at Nadeau Music find especially heartening and proud of our association with him, is his contribution to entertain the Canadian, Amercian and British troops for eight days in Bosnia. There is no greater gift one can give than trying to improve the quality of life for others who are in a very difficult situation. Thanks Tony!!
